Interestingly, nine of them have specially molded heads. Additionally, all characters have front and back torso printing, five characters have double sided faces, and seven have leg printing. Of the 20 characters, nine are unique to this set. In addition, you also get R2-D2 (which counts as a minifig) and a dewback. All in all it looks pretty good and I’ll say most fans will buy this playset because it offers so much more than previous years.Mos Eisley includes a whopping 20 Minifigures. I thought a Ronto would be included considering they did include a Jawa, rather than just another Dewback. It’s a shame a Bantha didn’t make it but then again Tusken Raiders don’t appear in Mos Eisley. I’m very happy they included a new Ubrikkian 9000 Z001 Pod and V-35 Landspeeder rather than yet another X-34 Landspeeder.

I’m sure fans will be happy with all the booths and a full bar. Well LEGO did say it would be a Mos Eisley Cantina and they did fulfil on the promise. Considering there are the ones aforementioned why not include alien creatures such as Arleil Schous, Feltipern Trevagg, Hem Dazon, Muftak, Nabrun Leids, Takeel & Zutton? What I don’t understand is including Garindan but not the escape scene? Also, there are some smaller buildings but not sure of the significance other than padding out the brick count. I’m sure fans appreciate the number of minifigures but there should have been more iconic characters. Then they could have named it the LEGO Mos Eisley Spaceport. I know licensing costs a lot but they could have added more including Docking Bay 94 and a scaled down Millennium Falcon with 2000+ more bricks. So this seems a little underwhelming considering Harry Potter fans receive 5000+ bricks and Star Wars fans only get 3000+ bricks for the same price. I can’t find any other cantina alien who matches that look, but Helrot doesn’t have a distinctive profile. He has a light-colored, bald head, and wears a light-colored vest over a dark outfit.
This unidentified minifig could be Elis Helrot. In the upper right is Labria (aka Kardue’sai’Malloc), and one mystery character. In the lower right are two Sandtroopers and Garindan.Īt the top with the smaller building are Kabe (in the doorway), Momaw Nadon, and a Jawa. In front of the building are the six Rebels (Luke, Han, Chewie, Ben, R2, 3PO) and Greedo. Evazen, and the normal minifigs are Wuher and three of the Bith band members. In the lower left corner, the undersized minifigs are Ponda Baba and Dr. The box photo is tough to decipher, due to the garbage resolution of the image, but here’s who I can identify: I’m not seeing Lak Sivrak anywhere in this picture. Others minifigures include the famous cantina band, Figrin D’an and the Modal Nodes, the bartender Wuher, Labria, Greedo, Momaw Nadon, the Imperial Spy Garindan, two Sandtroopers, a Jawa, and the usual cast of heroes Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Han Solo, Chewbacca, C-3PO, and R2-D2. Two notables are Doctor Cornelius Evazan and Ponda Baba, who didn’t “like” Luke. The set appears to include more than 20 minifigures, including several who are appearing in minifigure form for the first time. There’s no word yet on the set’s price or release date. The bulbous 9000 Z001 landspeeder was featured in 2018’s much smaller 75205 Mos Eisley Cantina set, while the sleek V-35 landspeeder has never appeared in a LEGO set before. The set also has a few smaller outbuildings, along with a few vehicles and a dewback.
The massive 3,187-piece set features a large central building for the infamous Chalmun’s Spaceport Cantina, where Luke and Obi-Wan first meet Han Solo and Chewbacca. Today LEGO gave us our first official look at the next Star Wars set targeted at adult fans, 75290 Mos Eisley Cantina, thanks to this image posted by their official Korean Facebook account, though they’ve since removed the image.
